Memories of Flora Maxfield: Rifle's First Lady

The wife of Rifle's founder, Abram Maxfield, Flora was a trailblazer in her own right during a period of timewhen men were perceived as being the only recognized leaders.  Her journey began on Prince Edward Island, and continued to her finalresting place in Rifle, the community where she left her mark on history.
