Our Museum

The Rifle Heritage Center is the largest museum in Garfield County, and is home to a wide variety of exhibits and interactive displays that come together to tell the story of Rifle's past.

We are pleased to offer one of the area's largest Native American artifact exhibits, as well as our signature collection of photos derived from extremely rare glass plate negatives taken by the prolific photographers  Fred & Ola Garrison.

Whether you are interested in learning more about the early pioneers, discovering the rich culture of local Native Americans, exploring Rifle's part in the "Wild West" or just want to experience what life was

"back in the day", our museum has something for you!
